This course is aimed at raising awareness of the way that your business activities could be damaging the environment, and giving you a start on the process of reducing that damage and possibly saving or earning yourself money as a result.
At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:
- Explain the effects of environmental legislation on your business
- Analyse the impact of your business on the environment
- Implement and monitor measures to improve your environmental performance
- Examine the disposal of waste from your site and look for ways of saving or earning money
- Apply the principles of an environmental management system such as BSEN ISO 14001
