Representing Employees' Safety

One day In-company programme

This one day course aims to provide an opportunity for safety representatives to discuss their role in the organisation and how they can develop their skills to deliver an effective service for their colleagues.

 At the end of the programme each delegate should be able to:

• State the responsibility of the organisation for the health and safety of workers and non employees
• Outline their role in assisting the company and their colleagues to work in safety
• Perform their role competently with confidence
• Act as a conduit for information between management and workforce
• Assist in the investigation of accidents
• Contribute effectively in safety meetings
• Understand the need for a team approach to safety management
