Risk and the Pregnant Worker One day public or in-company programme
This one day course is designed to enable both:
- nominated risk assessors; and
- those who might manage such employees;
to fully and effectively discharge their responsibilities regarding pregnant workers.
At the end of the programme each delegate should be able to:
- Discuss the criminal legal environment relating to pregnant workers
- Discuss the civil law implications relating to pregnant workers
- Describe the special nature of the hazards and risks faces by pregnant workers
- Perform suitable and sufficient general risk assessments with regard to the workplace and nature of work undertaken by a pregnant worker
- Identify when specific risk assessments may be required
- Make recommendations for control proportional to any identified risks to the pregnant worker
