The aim of this course is to illustrate the role of the CDM Co-ordinator, detailing the functions and responsibilities throughout a construction project.

At the end of the workshop each delegate should be able to:

  • Outline the CDM Co-ordinator requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
  • Monitor designer's compliance with the regulations
  • Outline the preparation of the information packs
  • Outline the elements to be considered in the involvement with the construction phase health and safety plan
  • Collate data for inclusion in the health and safety file

It is recommended that delegates for this workshop should already have an awareness of the content of the regulations
